Training Facility

While visiting the Home Office in While Plains, New York I had the luxury of visiting their training center. It was a nice clean and open room. The training center holds about 60 people comfortably. It was open for configuration depending on the particular need. If they wanted to hold a session involving a smaller group of people there were round tables so that people would have more interaction and didn't feel uncomfortable as we learned in class. They can also hold larger lectures in the room, they take out the tables in have chairs that they would like up accordingly. The training facility is wired to facilitate computers or other hookups needed for presentations or other electric or electronic needs. The company purposely built it to be very versatile. It is carpeted and well lit to make people feel comfortable and well lit to be able to read materials handed out to them and to keep peoples attention. The walls were white and there was nothing hanging from the walls Bruny mentioned that "you don't want distractions." A budget and a staff are dedicated solely for the training. There is an ongoing training budget for meetings, printed materials, travel, new hires, and refresher courses.
