As the snow touches my eyelids,
I am remembering the gentle caress
Of your lips on my face
There is that quality in these soft flakes
That fall from the sky, yet leave no trace on the winter green grass
At night when I have felt my heart break open
Yearning to have you near again
I seem to have felt your spirit lips
Touch my face gently
The soft breezes are your sighs
As you bend your head to touch me once again,
With kisses born of the wind.
