How I Lost Ten Pounds by Going on a Ramen Noodle Diet

I was on a mission to lose my baby fat that I had obtained while being pregnant. I was almost back to my normal weight but could not seem to get there. I hate diet pills and I did not feel like starving myself.

I only had ten pounds to go and I was going to lose these ten pounds. Most people don't believe me when I tell them that I lost the last ten pounds of baby fat by eating two bowls of ramen noodles a day.

I would eat two bowls of Ramen Noodles a day, one for breakfast and one for lunch. I was not sure if this would work because I had never heard of anyone doing this before but I figured that with it being almost empty calories and it still filling me up, then it would defiantly be worth a shot.

I took a multivitamin everyday to help keep up with my daily nutritional needs and I exercised for thirty minutes three times a week. I had also cut out all of my caffeine intake. I was addicted to pop but I substituted it with non caffeine drinks so that I would still get a little bit of the taste that I was use too.

When I made my Ramen Noodles for my diet, I would keep a lot of juice in it and eat it like a soup. You may be wondering why I would eat it with juice, well the juice would help to feel me up without causing it to lose it's flavor.

When you start any diet, you want to make sure that you are healthy and you should talk to your doctor about any concerns that you might have. I went to the doctor three weeks later and had lost all of the baby weight except for one pound. When the doctor asked me how I kicked off those pounds within a short period of time, I explained to him that I had started my own diet called the Ramen Noodle diet. He laughed and said that it made sense. He also said that he once lost thirty pounds in three months by eating nothing but condensed soup three times a day.

This is silly, you're only losing weight because you are increasing your water intake, decreasing your calories by a large amount and starving your body forcing it to use up fat stores. The reason your doctor said to not keep this up is so that you don't send your body into starvation mode which can be dangerous and is not at all healthy. You could achieve this exact same result by drinking water and eating fruit all day and get more nutritional value from it. Diets don't work.... changing your lifestyle and eating habits in a healthy way do.

i had a few friends in high school that were on the ramen noodle diet and most of them were on the wrestling team. they both lost weight and maintained their weight all thru high school. i am currently on the water fasting for 40 days, you can loose up to 40lbs in that amount of time.., the KEY to all the diets no matter what you are on, is STICK with it! no matter what, do not CHEAT! follow what ever diet you are on! it will work, you have to be mentally physically and emotionally stable to do ANYdiet! good luck with all the dieters out there and we will see you all on the SKINNY SIDE!!! currently i am 190lbs i want to get to the 130lbs by Christmas and i will be when i do the water fasting for that amount of time!!!

I agree this does work! I wasn't even trying to diet since I only weighed about 140 but I was was going through my college ramen noodle eating faze lol well come to find out I had lost 10 pounds within 1 month.. Though I might have had great results because I have a very fast metabolism so this theory could vary from person to person. Seriously though this is a great diet plan.. Just make sure to keep healthy with daily exercise and consume plenty of vitamins.. The person who claims this is for poor people I'm not sure if eating ramen noodles makes you poor and ghetto since Koreans consume shin ramyun more then water. Get your facts right idiot.

I don't understand one thing, the author said "almost empty calories" - everywhere I checked it says 180 - 200 kcal per one package of noodles. Are they any special vriety with low calories? Because I don't think 200kcal is a low number.

This really does work! I've done it myself and lost around 15 pounds. I researched it and here is someone who is just starting it and wants you to follow his/her (not sure which) progress. It was pretty interesting and I'm looking foreward to hearing how it goes. http://ramendiet.webs.com/

hello, here is a diet recipe I came up with involving ramen noodles you will need the following pot to cook them in casserole dish. boil the noodles strain them beat the eggs add them to the noodles..mix it up then poor it all into a casserole dish then microwave for about 4:30 seconds are until the eggs are cooked. the next trick is getting this delicous better than sex recipe out is to take a plate flip it upside down and flip the casserole dish over, It should slide right out. also make sure to use some cooking spray so it doesn't stick to the casserole dish. You just made ramen noodle pizza!!!!!!!!! You can add anything you want for a topping I like to use teriyaki sauce and onions for my toppings also if you want some chicken flavor you can add one packet over the top of it kinda like parmesian cheese.......LOL!!!!!!!!!
