I was on a mission to lose my baby fat that I had obtained while being pregnant. I was almost back to my normal weight but could not seem to get there. I hate diet pills and I did not feel like starving myself.

I only had ten pounds to go and I was going to lose these ten pounds. Most people don't believe me when I tell them that I lost the last ten pounds of baby fat by eating two bowls of ramen noodles a day.

I would eat two bowls of Ramen Noodles a day, one for breakfast and one for lunch. I was not sure if this would work because I had never heard of anyone doing this before but I figured that with it being almost empty calories and it still filling me up, then it would defiantly be worth a shot.

I took a multivitamin everyday to help keep up with my daily nutritional needs and I exercised for thirty minutes three times a week. I had also cut out all of my caffeine intake. I was addicted to pop but I substituted it with non caffeine drinks so that I would still get a little bit of the taste that I was use too.

When I made my Ramen Noodles for my diet, I would keep a lot of juice in it and eat it like a soup. You may be wondering why I would eat it with juice, well the juice would help to feel me up without causing it to lose it's flavor.

When you start any diet, you want to make sure that you are healthy and you should talk to your doctor about any concerns that you might have. I went to the doctor three weeks later and had lost all of the baby weight except for one pound. When the doctor asked me how I kicked off those pounds within a short period of time, I explained to him that I had started my own diet called the Ramen Noodle diet. He laughed and said that it made sense. He also said that he once lost thirty pounds in three months by eating nothing but condensed soup three times a day.

Takeaways
  • What my Doctor had to say about my diet
  • Why I chose this diet
  • What you should do when on this diet

Ramen noodles is not ghetto! Some people are just plain STUPID! Asian people eat noodles all the time. Do you see any fat asians? I have eaten nothing but ramen noodles because I love noodles. Then I realized that I lost wieght when I did that. Never imagined that there was a actual ramen noodle diet. lol. Well IT WORKS! I drink water, eat fish (can or fresh), and drink water all day long or whenever I get hungry. I do eat other things while I am eating noodles. A hamburger here or there, etc. But the noodle diet works like a charm.

Ghetto diet? I lost 70 pounds replacing my lunches with Ramen noodles. I cut out soft drinks and sugar also. I also saved a ton of money by buying ramen from the grocery store instead of throwing it away on fast food and restaurants there is nothing "Ghetto" about that. I promise I have more pocket money than you do!

When I eat ramen to lose weight, I add an extra cup of water, sliced mushrooms, chopped celery, minced garlic, cabbage and grated carrots to the water, boil for 3-4 minutes, then finish cooking the ramen by the package directions. Delicious, and low carb while getting some veggies too.

Pretty nice to call it an "inexpensive diet" - more like GHETTO DIET. Hello no wonder your dr laughed at you. This is a sad society when we are reading about Ramen Noodle diets. How is this teaching children how to eat healthy. I've never had ramen noodles in my house EVER in my life. Aside from POOR, GHETTO people, I think the only people who eat this is college kids.

Interesting diet. My sons are on the same one, but they eat about ten cups a day per child. (Not really --- I figure I'd better clarify before someone calls DFACS)....But they love them...Our concern is the sodium....as one of the boys is a chronic kidney stone producer.

You are correct on this. The sodium can be high especially if you are trying to watch your sodium intake.

It sure is an inexpensive diet. But oh man soo much sodium!!!
