Ebay.com is one of the most accessed websites on the planet. But is it the best place to go to find bargains? Rising fees from ebay have propelled both buyers and sellers to find better, more profitable, auction sites. There are numerous other auction sites that have much lower fees, however, none can seem to compete with ebay.

Bidturf.com was launched November 15, 2006 and may just give ebay a run for its money. Bidturf.com attracts both buyers and sellers by NOT charging any listing fees or final value fees (both are charged by ebay.com). The only fees charged by bidturf are for listing upgrades, which are not mandatory. If you sign up now, a $25 credit is issued to your account, which could take a while to use. That most obviously attracts sellers.

However, since there are no mandatory fees, sellers do not have to add that cost into the prices they would like for their items. This way, buyers can find better deals. Bidturf is also affiliated with the most popular financial cybermediary, paypal.com, providing buyers and sellers the most convenient way to send and receive payments. Paypal is already the most widely accepted payment on ebay, so when transferring business over to bidturf.com, buyers and sellers can continue using this simple payment method. Debit and credit cards, as well as electronic checks through the sender's bank account, can all be used to send payment via paypal. Sellers can have the funds electronically transferred to their bank accounts, or they can request a paypal debit card, which gives them instant access to their funds while they are in their paypal account. Bidturf.com also advertises an affiliate program as well.
