Oh those crazy teenage girls and their rites of passage.... the first prom, the first kiss, the first bank robbery.....

On Tuesday, February 27th, two cuties, one blonde, one brunette, walked into their local Georgia Bank of America branch and robbed it. Cleverly hiding their true identities with sunglasses, the two giggled as collected an undisclosed amount of money.

Cobb County police spokesman officer Wayne Delk said, "one of the girls appears to be laughing in a bank surveillance camera image - as though it's all fun and games to them."

According to police, the girls, who look to be as young as sixteen, demanded money via the classic method of note passing. No word on whether or not they used pretty stationary with flowers and bumble bees.

Exactly what went down hasn't been released by police but the amount taken was said to have been "considerable". Witnesses to the crime are having a difficult time recalling small details- like if they left in a car or not.

The crime will certainly be one for the books as these two girls, who will be arrested by days end thanks to the clarity of security cameras and effortless disguise, casually walked into the bank's suburban Atlanta branch located inside of a supermarket.

Two appeared to be unarmed, making them all the more dangerous. Tips are pouring in as attendance records at area high schools are checked.

It's also been suggested that the two are seeking national media recognition. Delk's media pager started going off at 5:50 a.m. and has yet to stopped. Among the calls were those from CNN and Good Morning America.

"It's an interesting twist," Delk said. "Banks get robbed quite often, but not by young girls with sunglasses."

Maybe they were trying their own version of "Sugar & Spice". Just give 'em time and ppl will start blaming the media... "'lil Susie was just the perfect child. Until she watched that movie! Let's sue Hollywood!" hehe but good reporting!! I'd love a follow-up on this one
