Building teamwork, endurance, physical strength, they all point to the same thing -- football. Playing team sports enable players to gain valuable experiences. They can then use those experiences for other activities. Participating in football can develop good qualities in people. While playing this game, players are often tempted to quit because of the demanding drills and risk of injury. Yet those who do not drop out and complete the season will gain many benefits that extend fat beyond playing football.

Engaging in high school football teaches teamwork in adolescents. During football games the players work together, attempting to stop the ball on defense or move it down the field on offense. Football players who have gained experience working as a team can apply that experience in other fields such as playing in a band or working in construction. Playing in our church's worship team requires cooperation. Each Sunday at 9:00 in the morning the members of the worship team meet and begin practicing. All musicians must play their instruments at the same temp with the correct notes or else the song sounds hideous. Just as being a part of the worship team involves joint effort so does constructing a building properly. Architects, carpenters, contractors, electricians, and plumbers all take part in creating a new structure.
