Paris Hilton could lose her driver's license if she is found guilty of driving with a suspended license. The society star could also face jail time as this new infraction would violate the conditions of her prior sentence for reckless driving.

Hilton, heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune and star of "The Simple Life," was pulled over on Tuesday. Sergeant Duane Allen Jr. said she was pulled over after her blue Bentley was seen speeding with its headlights off, and was then found to be driving with a suspended license.

Nick Velasquez, spokesman for the Los Angeles city attorney's office, said he was waiting to receive a copy of the ticket. "Once we're able to verify that Miss Hilton was driving the vehicle, we will request that the court revoke her probation and set a probation violation hearing."

If Hilton is found to have violated her probation, she could face up to 90 days in jail. "That is certainly one of the possibilities," Velasquez said. He added, "The judge would make that determination."

The first suspended license and probation stemmed from last September. In January, Hilton pleaded no-contest to reckless driving due to alcohol. She was sentenced to 36 months probation, fined $1,500 and was to attend alcohol education classes.

In that incident, Hilton failed a field sobriety test when her blood alcohol level was at 0.08%, California's legal limit, according to authorities.

According to Elliot Mintz, Hilton's spokesman, Hilton was returning home on Sunday after purchasing DVDs in West Hollywood. He said Hilton did not realize the car's headlights weren't on, as she had been parked in a well-lit parking garage. According to Mintz, Hilton said she was informed by police that she was pulled over because of the headlights, and that a speeding violation had not been mentioned.

"When she called me, she asked if her license was suspended," Mintz said on Wednesday. "If that's the case, she and I are unaware of it."

Remind me again WHY we should care about this NOTHING princess? Jail would be the best thing for her to WAKE UP and see reality. But I am sure her pricey lawyers will get it knocked down to house arrest if anything happens at all. Wouldn't it be a PITY if we didn't have to see or HEAR about Paris for 90 whole days!
