I have had enough with people who do not know how to act in line! I have taken the time out of my busy schedule to create this detailed list of instuctions for people who have trouble understanding the unspoken rules.Rules of the Line
At an Amusement Park
1. You may sit on the railing, even if posted otherwise, as long as no park employee tells you to get down.
2. You must allow about a 1 person gap (2 max.) between yourself and the person in front of you.
3. You must move at the same speed as the other people.
4. You may only stop at a drinking fountain along the way as long as you do not obstruct the normal flow of the line. Afterwards, you are allowed to return to your place in line.
5. You are not allowed to save a spot for more then 3 people. This is because a single care on a ride usually has room for only 4.
6. There is no such thing as back-cuts for strangers.
7. Balloons are not allowed to brought in line on windy days, because they will most likely hit other people around you. You are exempt from this rule if the line is completely indoor, although balloons are still annoying for most.
8. If you have gum, you are not allowed to stick it on the railing or on the wall. Both locations are perfect leaning spaces, and therefore gum sticking is strictly prohibited.
9.When you pontificate with others, it is a good idea to keep vulgar language and offensive content down to a minimum or at least at a whisper. You must remember that someone is stuck behind you, and perhaps doesn't want to hear what you are saying.
10. If a stranger asks you to save their spot while they go to the restroom, you are obliged to do so until you reach the end of the line. If you had to go to the bathroom would you want to be rushed?
11. When you leave the house remember to use deodorant. People who are stuck around you will be much obliged.
