Many people are familiar with the Canon digital camera line. This manufacturer has been handing out amazing digital cameras for many years, and each one they produce somehow is even more astonishing than the last. And this is ever true for the Canon PowerShot 6.0-Megapixel Digital Camera - Model: S3 IS. This camera is absolutely perfect, and comes with so many features that you could write a novel about them. There truly aren't that many great cameras out on the market today, and this is definitely one of them.

Some of the features that makes this camera so great is the 6.0-mega pixel CCD which captures high-resolution images up to 2816 x 2112 pixels. This camera also comes with a 12x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, and a 48x total zoom, all through a UD lens. To view your pictures immediately, there is a 2" color TFT-LCD monitor with Vari-Angel adjustment, histogram display and auto image rotation, as well as an optical viewfinder.

This camera comes with Canon's DIGIC II imaging processor and iSAPS (Intelligent Scene Analysis based on Photographic Space) technology, which provides you with greater picture quality, faster processing speeds and more accurate auto focus, auto exposure and auto white balance. There is also an optical image stabilization mode that minimizes shake and vibration distortion, as well as having ISO 800 which provides you with even clearer images.

There are several shooting modes that come with this camera, some of them include auto, creative (program, aperture-priority, shutter-priority, and manual) and image which includes landscape, night, sports, snow, beach, night snapshot, indoor, fireworks and color replacement. The TTL (Through-The-Lens) continuous and single-shot auto focus with evaluative, center-weighted average and spot metering and super macro mode - which focuses up to 3.9" - is the focusing power that comes directly with the camera. There is even a continuous shooting mode which captures up to 2.3 fps for fast action shots.
