It's Better in the Country

2
Have you been everywhere and seen everything that Cincinnati has to offer? If so, take a little trip about a half an hour east and see what the country has to offer. Great meals, great wine and fun on the water are just a few things that Felicity, Ohio and surrounding areas have in store for you. Take a weekend road trip to our neck of the woods and see what we mean when we say that it's better in the country.

Eat...

The Feedmill Restaurant in Felicity is home to comfort food and laid back living that people drive from miles around just to savor. Exposed beams and well worn hardwood floors add to the ambiance of this little eatery. From fresh pork tenderloin sandwiches to sizzling "sizzler" steaks you won't leave on an empty stomach. Come early for the breakfast and get started with your stomach on full.

Enjoy a sweet treat just "down the hill" from Felicity at the Route 52 Dairy Bar in Chilo, Ohio you can't miss it. Just as the name suggests it's located on Route 52. They serve delicious shakes and sundaes that hit the spot on a sunny afternoon. You can grab a quick bite for lunch there, too. Try the bacon cheeseburgers...they are the best!

Drink...

Lakeside Vineyard & Winery is located right outside of Felicity on state route 756. It's a great place to sample some delicious wines that are created with grapes grown right here in Felicity. Tasting room is open every Saturday from noon to nine pm and the wines are available for purchase starting at ten dollars per bottle. I'd make the winery the last stop and make sure you bring a designated driver to get you home safely. With wines named "Therapy" and "Reggae" it won't take you long to relax and enjoy the country living.

Be Merry...

Colonial Pines Golf Course located on state route 222 just before you enter Felicity. Play the front nine and enjoy one of the most scenic and challenging holes in Clermont County. Be careful, too short and you're in the drink; too long and you're on the road! The staff is very friendly with PGA professional, Gary Thullen, as the owner. Don't want to spend the whole day playing on the greens? Check out the fully stocked golf shop and enjoy the view from the club house.
