Blogs are great just to be able to write whatever you want about a job, a hobby or even yourself. In the last few years, millions of people started blogging when the news outlets picked up on the fact that blogging was making some people a lot of money. Many people were disappointed when they did not get the riches that others claim to have made. Blogging will not make you rich and if you start blogging just to make money, chances are that you will fail. If you have a successful blog with a lot of visitors however, there are a lot of things that can be done to make money from your blog.

Make Money From Your Blog - Affiliate Ads

Affiliate ads was one of the first ways that people made money with there personal websites and it also translates to blogs. A blogger can search through a lot of online stores who sell products that fit with their blogs or they can go a website such as Commission Junction. At Commission Junction there are thousands of online stores to choose from in each category and it is simple to find affiliates that will compliment your blog.

Make Money From Your Blog - Sell your own products

If a blog has a great following they might be able to make money with their own t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. This is especially true if a blogger creates personal graphics and logos that visitors are familiar with. Using a site such as Café Press it is then easy to upload the graphics and blog logos, set the individual selling prices and post the links on your blog.

While Café Press started with t-shirts, they offer a wide array of different products now that include: hoodies, mugs, sweatshirts, books, magazines and even audio and data CDs.
