 cities and towns across the state. Some of the spring festivals include the Edmond Arts Festival, Prague Kolache Festival, Oklahoma Renaissance Faire, Lawton Renaissance Festival and the Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival

Edmond Arts Festival May 1-3

Arts festival and performing arts are celebrated on the Streets of Edmond.

Prague Kolache Festival May 2

Prague celebrates the Czech heritage and the birthday of the Prague community with beautiful Czech costumes, food, dance, Polka Street dance, a parade, arts and crafts, carnival, beer garden, wine pavilion and free entertainment all day.

Oklahoma Renaissance Faire May 2 - 31 Weekends

The Renaissance Faire at The Castle of Muskogee is a weekend event that takes visitors back in time to the medieval era in Old England. Royal activities and special events include The Masked Ball, The King's Feaste, Queen's Quest, Lunch with the King, Queen's Tea, King's Smoker, The Ceilidh (Scottish Party), Ultimate Maze, Torture Chamber, Catacombs and more. Lawton Renaissance Festival June 6-7

The Ren-faire is fun for the entire family, featuring jousting tournaments, artists and crafters, live music, games, food and drink. Step back into a land that is part history and part fantasy during the era of King Henry V. The knights from Hanlon-Lees Action Theater come directly from Hollywood to perform in Oklahoma and other festivals across the nation. Steel Serenity will present a historical program that is educational and fun. Explore the clothing, food, weapons and tools from the time period of the 1400's into the late 1500's. Also on hand will be The Bilge Pumps musical group, The Brothers Dimm, Wild by Nature, Ladies of the Salty Kiss, A Mirage Dance Company, Royal Gauntlet Birds of Prey and more.
