Just think of how much you spend for flower arrangements each year. For holiday meals, special birthday parties, or just to have something beautiful for your own enjoyment. They have both individual and group classes and you do get to take your creations home with you. Take the year long class and you may get sponsored into a show when you could walk away the big prize winner.

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, New York City is a great place to learn flower arranging and the cost is very reasonable. They have different classes all year long for instance on June 11th they will have a class in Flower Arranging in Glass Vases. For those who would like to have a career in flower arranging they have one of the best certificate programs around. It is a very comprehensive course covering all the elements of flower arranging. It covers Basic Flower Arranging,
Intermediate Flower Arranging, Business Essentials, Designs of the Times, Dried and Silk Arrangements, Foliage Designs and Plant Care, Funeral and Sympathy Designs and Wedding Arrangements.

The continuing education program at Malloy College in Bethpage, New York Has several flower arranging classes. Start with Floral Design I, then go to II and finally III. They are taught at the 1-800-flowers design center, so you know what your designs can end up looking like.
