Moving On
A Graduation Poem
The time has come, tomorrow's hereSo starts the next, and ends this year.
Tonight we're set to celebrate,
When sunrise comes, we'll graduate.
The chapter's penned, the ink has dried,
We try to laugh, but only cry.
In just a flash, 4 years have gone,
We've learned a lot from many wrongs.
We know our time spent in the halls,
In class, on bleachers and at the malls,
Has had to come to a quick end.
As we move along and learn to fend.
Our memories made and friendships grown
But more to learn now on our own.
As most will move to different towns,
Unified one last time in caps and gowns.
Reflecting on the years gone past,
And those to come for this senior class.
