A beautiful complexion is not that hard to maintain, still there are times when the weather, hectic schedules, and stress keep our skin from looking its best. There are a couple things you can do to get your complexion back on track and looking fresh. If you're in a rush and you need an instant boost you can also fake a natural glow....just a little of course. Here are five easy steps to help perfect your skin tone and find that beautiful complexion of yours again.
Moisturize
You have heard this one before, and its importance really cannot be stressed too much. In order for your skin to appear healthy it needs to be healthy, and moisturizing is the first way to get it there. Moisturize with a water rich facial cream daily, don't forget to coat both the face and the neck.
If you have not been moisturizing daily and need a quick lift this step is irreplaceable. Moisturizing will give your complexion an immediate luminous and healthy appearance.
Create a Radiant Glow
There are a couple of tricks and products you can use to create a natural glow in a snap. Before applying makeup your skin needs to appear healthy and supple so apply a light reflecting formula to your face. A good formula will not only give you that radiant glow you are looking for but will work to improve your skin tone.
There are several products in the beauty aisle to help with this problem. I recommend Neutrogena Healthy Skin Visibly Even Night Concentrate if you have time to work with. This product is left on overnight resulting in soft skin with a natural glow.
Create Fabulous Eyes
If the rest of your face has a beautiful complexion but the skin around your eyes is looking tired and in need of attention, your entire appearance will appear slightly dull. Give the sensitive skin around your eyes the special attention it requires and deserves.
Use de-puffing balm on the skin around your eyes at night to soothe puffy and tired eyes. For a quick fix to make your eyes pop now try some of the tricks I describe in this article How To Fix Tired Eyes Quick.
Use a Tinted Moisturizer
After a long winter your skin may appear lack luster, this can easily be reversed with the use of a tinted moisturizer. If you don't have any you can make some of your own easily. Mix a drop of highlighter with your liquid foundation or concealer. Choose a tone that is one shade lighter than your natural skin tone for the best results and lightly blend into your face.
L'Oreal Paris True Match Blendable Bronze Glow and Lorac Oil Free Luminizer are two great products to get you that fresh complexion.
Blush A Little
A natural blush can be very flattering and creates a fresh and sexy look, so blush a little. Dust your favorite rosy shade onto the apples of your cheeks for a naturally flushed complexion.
