The content I find on Associated Content everyday never ceases to amaze me. I like to think of Associated Content as a place where I can take advantage of free college course material.

More than one professor in my academic career referred to me as an academic nerd, honestly I love the life I led as a student and plan on being a lifelong academic. But because of the major and concentrations I chose there was very limited room for electives and additional college courses that appealed to my non-science interests.

So let me welcome you to my selection of AC College Courses chosen from a continually updated library of free material. Here you will find an assortment of interesting articles in a variety of subjects that have peaked my interest and can do the same for you.

Course Listings:

Mathematics
I can honestly say that math was NOT my favorite subject all through school, I never struggled with it, I just thought it annoying. Still, I have found a few favorite articles here on Associated Content that are math related and a good addition to every education. Don't worry there is no actual math involved.

Romans and Mayans, Math and Engineering: Which Empire was Really the Man?- By Timothy Sexton
A comparative look at the Roman and Mayan Empires, their mathematical and engineering achievements, and how they fit into our lives still.

History of Blaise Pascal- By Nicholas Pointe
A brief history of the life and work of French Mathematician and Physicist. Even though I despise most mathematicians I do have Pascal to thank for creating the first calculator.

X-Ray Vision and Ancient Math- By Mark Brooks
An interesting article on how modern science can be used to rediscover ancient mathematical treasures.

Science
Science is my first love but there are so many aspects of science that I did not get to take in college. Here are my favorite science college course topics on AC.

Intertidal Biology- A Description and Analysis of the Intertidal Zone- By Leo Paska
A study of the zones, organisms and environmental impact in a unique marine ecosystem.

Thanks so much for including my b-movie round-up. I have a lot of fun doing them, and there are many, MANY issues to come.

Sadly, I usually find crappy top 10 articles and hurried, thoughtless articles. I tend to use wikipedia for my learning. It's a nice concept though.

As a new user to Associated Content, I had no idea that there were so many great articles available on here that could actually be of educational value to you, but the more I surf the site, the more interesting things I find. Great article.
