Easter is a time of candy. It is a time of stuffed bunnies. It is yet another great holiday for families to get together and enjoy the springtime festivities of Easter. Like Valentines Day, like Halloween, I believe more and more people are losing sight of what makes this holiday great. It's not a time to go buy the annual candy. This should not be a buyers market kind of holiday. This is yet another perfect time to enjoy the company and the crazy games of children. The annual Easter Egg hunt is one of the most wonderful and pure traditions Easter has to offer.

I remember growing up, my family would hide the candy and or eggs all over the house, and they would tell me if I was close by saying "you're hot" or if I was going away from the hidden eggs by saying "you're cold". This is fun for parents and children. Participate in the festivities. Enjoy the playfulness of your children while they're still children and they still believe in the old Easter Bunny.

Now, what kind of things can you do for these wonderful games? I remember poking holes in chicken eggs, and blowing out everything in the inside through one of these tiny holes. That can tiresome and pointless. Instead, why don't you go buy one of those bags full of plastic eggs that open up down the center. You know the eggs I'm talking about. Then, all you have to do is fold up a dollar bill and stick it inside. When a child finds out that he or she didn't have to do any chores for the Easter Bunny in order to get some money, their face will light up.

That's one way to make your child happy during their hunt, but there's many other things the Easter Bunny can leave them that could bring a smile to their face. You can hide toys and candy in the most unlikely places. Great examples of toys and candy are found at any given websites; such as, OrientalTrading.com, Hersheys.com, and many more.
