If you are looking for a fabulous hike on the Oregon coast it probably won't be to hard to find. The coast of Oregon has so many great hikes and backpacks that you really might just have to close your eyes and point to find out where you want to go. I might be able to help you out by recommending Sunset bay as your next trip destination. Sunset bay is located on the rugged coastline south of Coos Bay. Sunset bay is known as one of the most diverse and scenic sections of the Oregon Coast. Off the shore one can look to a wall-like platform where sea lions roam and occupy the rocks. Their barks are heard all over the area of the shoreline. Opposite the sea are forested hillsides, rocky headlands, and many coves. Tide pools filled with interesting life are near the beach as well. Huge waves can be seen and heard crashing against the rocks. There is a man made garden with many flowers on display in the area as well. These flowers and hedges are modeled after the gardens in England. The best feature of the sunset bay area might be the trails to hike. The hike is known to be enjoyable and rather easy; this makes it possible for everyone to enjoy the trail.

Takeaways
  • The trail immediately crosses a big and beautiful bridge over a creek to start the hike off
