College students always find themselves skimping on cash. Some college students take on part-time jobs, but most of the money goes towards tuition, books, and boarding fees. For some extra money, there are things college students can do. Here are a few different ways college students can make an extra buck or two.

Sell your textbooks

Selling textbooks is a great opportunity for college students to make money quick. College students can make money by selling the books back to their school bookstore, but the price may be low compared to other venues for selling textbooks. College students can find several sites on the internet that pay top dollar for used textbooks and most will pay for shipping costs. These internet sites will often give the seller three ways to receive payment: check, Paypal, or store credit. Right now the site offering the best prices for college students to make money from selling textbooks is textbooksrus.com. Some other sites college students may use to sell used textbooks are: ecampus.com, booksforcash.com, collegetextbookbuyers.com, and sellbackbooks.com.

Take surveys

Taking online surveys or being a part of online market research focus groups is a great way for college students to make money. There are a lot of sites out there which will pay college students (and everyone else) for their opinions. The only downside to taking part in surveys and online market research focus groups is there is always a minimum payout amount. This means the college student will not have the money readily available to them, once a survey is completed. The good thing is a check will be sent for a nice chunk of change, rather than a two or three dollar check. Some great sites for taking surveys are: surveyspot.com, surveysavvy.com, opinionoutpost.com, and greenfieldonline.com.

Students can also make money selling this really cool new product called StrapAHandle that is designed to make carrying anything easier. A friend of mine sold a bunch move in weekend last year and he made a lot of money. You buy them for $5 or $6 and you can charge $13 or $15 and pocket the profit. I'm looking into doing it this year and I know other people who are too. It's a great way to pay for books at the start of the semester. For more information go to www.strapahandle.com

Becoming a independent distributor for a company is also a great way to earn money. I have started this company distributing an amazing functional juice talked about in Time magazine and many more. You can find more information by visiting my site at warrenmoore.freelife.com and if you have questions on how to get started send me an email it is listed on the site.

Great ideas!! I actually went and signed up at OnlineVerdict, it sounds interesting. The other site "jurytrials" (or something like that), I couldn't find a place for prospective jurors to sign up. Well written article.
