Of all books ever written, the Bible seems to still be among the most controversial. It is the most loved and hated book in history. Satan's hatred for truth has made God's Word the center of attack, yet when Christ was on earth and Satan came to tempt Him, Jesus quoted from the Scriptures and overcame Satan with "It is written." Yes, He quoted from the Old Testament.

In the last day's of this world's history, God's people will continue to claim the promises of "It is written" to overcome sin, Satan, and those who oppose the Word of God. There is power in the Word...and that power is truth unto salvation.

People can propose all kinds of convoluted doctrines and beliefs, based on "other books" not included in the Bible, and the reason many of these books weren't included is because they "lacked apostolic or prophetic authorship, they did not claim to be the Word of God, and they contained unbiblical concepts or serious historical inaccuracies." (All About Jesus Christ)

Some people claim there are "lost" books that weren't included in the Bible. I have a book called "The Lost Books of the Bible and the Forbidden Books of Eden," and I can tell you these books were neither lost nor forbidden. Upon reading some of them, it's obvious they are not "the Word of God."

"Archaeology has discovered many manuscripts that are most valuable and significant, but while they are noteworthy and wonderful pieces of literature, they are not lost books of the Bible. The early church had within its authority to reject as non-canonical certain books, but they are not lost; merely discarded." You see, these "other books" were carefully read and reviewed, then discarded from inclusion for the reasons mentioned in the previous paragraphs. They are not "lost." Anyone can go out and buy them, read these manuscripts on the Internet and decide for themselves.

I think you have it all wrong. I believe in God, but the bible is another story. Translated down over so many years and by so many people. the bible doesn't look at todays life styles. Sorry but there are chapters missing that were and still are forbidden. to think otherwise is having a closed mind. There is more to us then people relalize. Do some more research.
