Tomah, Wisconsin is located in central Wisconsin with rolling hills to the southwest and flatland to the northeast. This makes it ideal for many outdoor activities. A couple special things Winnebago offers are the 10,000 square foot playground, and a handicapped fishing pier. Buckley Park houses the city's brand new Aquatic Center. It is 10,000 square feet with diving boards, water slides, and shade umbrellas to keep cool. Butts Park is home to an old army tank, and will soon be home to the city's veteran's memorial. It is next to the river, and offers a playground and picnic pavilion.

It borders the lake until the Lemonweir River, and then it meanders with the river until you reach Veterans Park. The views are gorgeous. Watch closely and you may spot some deer. Many people fish near the trail. Don't worry about getting tired because there are many benches to sit on and relax.
