My life has been nothing but broken dreams
Time and time again
Empty words and forgotten promises
Things I'll never see
Moments in time that will never be remembered
Except by my own mind
Memories that come back to haunt me
And will not leave me be
Promises you make to me now fall on a cold heart
The words you say no longer fill my mind
Because I no longer accept my life of broken dreams
