Before deciding on the best place to have your wedding reception there are a number of factors you need to consider. First decide what qualities and necessities you would like your wedding reception to have. For example how many people must be accommodated, is there accommodation available, what kind of setting do you want rural, urban, fairytale etc;. Then make a list of the available vendors offering wedding reception facilities in the area where you would like to have your wedding. Once you have made a list go through it removing anywhere that cannot meet most of your requirements. This should leave you with a short list.
The next step is to call each of the wedding reception venues on your short list and make an appointment to visit and discuss their facilities. Before making a final decision speak to your family and friends and see if anyone used the venue for a wedding previously or attended a wedding at the venue. Getting comments from both view points would ideal.
