Alternative Medicine Healing Plant: Holly (Ilex)

Holly is used to treat: colic, cramps, fever, gout, indigestion and pleurisy.

Caution: Holly berries are toxic.

Alternative Medicine Healing Plant: Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica)

Honeysuckle is used to treat: asthma, boils, constipation, cough, fever, flu, food poisoning, gonorrhea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, kidney stones, laryngitis, swollen glands, scabies, tumors and yeast infection.

Caution: Honeysuckle berries are toxic.

Alternative Medicine Healing Plant: Hop Tree (Ptelea trifoliate)

Hop tree is used to treat: asthma, fever, gout, parasite, rheumatism and stomach aches.

Alternative Medicine Healing Plant: Horehound (Marrubium vulgare)

Horehound is used to treat: bronchitis, congestion, cough, fever, hepatitis, malaria, menstrual pain, parasites, skin problems, sore throat, stomach ache and tuberculosis.

Horsetail is used to treat: bed-wetting, eczema, stomach ulcer and urinary tract infections.

Caution: Tea should not be consumed for more then three consecutive days.

Honeysuckle berries toxic? Wow, I guess I should throw out all my jars of honeysuckle berry jelly then ;). No, they are not toxic as a rule. Some think the species that produces the black berries may be, but it seems... unconfirmed.
