Many people have a first love when they are teenagers. However, first loves and any love relationship can and often are hard. In addition, expressing love for something or someone at any time can be a daunting task. Treating your significant correctly is an essential element of having a loving and a successful relationship. Buying gifts of love can illustrate a couple's loving relationship to each other and to others outside of the relationship. I have bought people that I love cards, candy, dolls, clothes, and trips. I have also gotten gifts of love from people. Candy and cards are nice gifts of love; however, if I want to give someone I love a very personal gift of in order to express my love for them I often write them a poem. Poetry is a very beautiful and creative way to express many different emotions at one time and expressing love for someone is a wonderful and frightening experience. Expressing love for someone can be both a wonderful and frightening experience because you never know if love will be returned. However, I have always felt that life is about taking chances and putting your heart on the line with a poem for you loved one is risky but exhilarating, so please try to write a poem sometime.
