When my baby was worn I wanted to buy him toys that would keep him busy and entertained. I figured he is probably bored from not being able to crawl and walk so he needs something that would make him feel happy. Many of the baby toys that are at the toy store are really not than entertaining. Most of them are rattles or teething toys that last in my baby's hands for about ten minutes. I did find a toy for my baby that was wonderful in keeping him entertained for a good period of time. The toy is called, Fisher-Price Link-a-doos Motion & Music Barnyard Gym. I love the Fisher-Price Link-a-doos Motion & Music Barnyard Gym for so many reasons. The Fisher-Price Link-a-doos Motion & Music Barnyard Gym has a lot of wonderful features. It comes with a comfortable quilted mat that I place my child on. As my child is lying on the mat he can manipulate three different detachable farm animals that are hanging in front of him. There is a pig, rooster and a cow. Each of those animals comes in different attractive colors that will attract your baby. The gym plays five different songs one being Old McDonald Had a Farm which your baby can enjoy while they are playing with the farm animals. When your baby hits one of the hanging farm animals it will activate a shorter tune. This can teach your baby about cause and effect. Your baby will begin to realize that every time a hanging toy is hit a different tune will come on. There are also three different sound effects that your baby can hear. One of those sounds is a moo moo sound.
The Fisher-Price Link-a-doos Motion & Music Barnyard Gym is easy to wash and put away. You can easily remove the gym bars. You can wash the gym along with the toys in the washing machine. I usually just let the toy air-dry. After the gym is dry it looks like new again. The gym comes with a vinyl bag that you can use to store the toy. I love the bag because I can take the toy wherever I go. I have taken it to the park and the beach.
