Have you've heard of the Phil Hendrie show? Phil Hendrie is a radio personality found syndicated throughout the North American area on Premiere Radio and on XM Satellite Radio. The show consists of one man, Phil Hendrie who allows callers to call in to talk with his fictional outrageous guests all voiced by him. His troubled guests tell they're outrageous tale of woe to the unsuspecting listeners who believe the characters are real. Phil Hendrie is the voice of this long list of unbelievably politically incorrect characters. The characters names are Austin Amarka, Ted Bell, Steve and Bobbie Doolie, Frodo the puppet, Steve Bosell, Lloyd, Bud, Skippy and Frank, Art Greico and much more.

It is like Borat; where under the guise of outrageous taboo subjects and toilet humor lays social commentary. Phil Hendrie shifts rapidly between a studio microphone and a regular telephone, creating the illusion that his guest has called into the show. To add to the illusion there is telephone line often feature prerecorded background noises simulating a bowling alley, a busy street, a highway and a bathroom. The radio calls sound faded with crinkling static noise in the background and loud huffing sounds of breathing into the phone. Even the radio commercials sound real. The commercial for Surrey Steakhouse is hilarious it has a lively, catchy jingle that declares "We want to put our meat in your Bleep!!! It is a great commercial that leaves you humming the jingle. Those unfortunate enough to not hear the disclaimer in the beginning of the show stating that the show is not real will believe it is.
