Underage drinking is a problem in all of the states. The percentage of underage drinking in Texas and the fatality rate for teen drivers under the influence is the highest in and state in the U.S. In Texas, the average age of teens that have begun drinking is 12. It is chemically dangerous for anyone, especially for people under the age of 21, to consume alcohol. The punishment for underage drinking is severe, ranging from a hefty fine to jail time. All it takes is one time to become hurt, hurt someone else, or even kill someone.

Awesome article! Well written, informative, and easy to read. I once bought 24 quarts of Rheinlander beer for a party in 9th grade, along with a pack of toilet paper, toilet bowl cleaner and a gallon of wine. I was 14 and not sure how I got away with it. Maybe it was buying the 'other' household stuff, lol.
