Let's look into the future 50 years. Your grandchildren are over for dinner asking how you fell in love and what happened at the wedding. Now imagine playing your wedding video for them. Seeing the hugs, the tears of joy and the temple will truly show your posterity your feelings of eternal marriage. "I think our children will appreciate our wedding video more so than we can imagine," says Kris Nielson (Manti Temple, 2003).

Wedding videography has become a priceless addition to any wedding. It's not surprising many couples consider a wedding video just as important as the wedding pictures. "The wedding video was our favorite part of the entire wedding. It captured all the emotions and excitement and we can relive it any time we want," says Preston Beckstrand (Salt Lake Temple, 2004).

On your wedding day, so much happens so fast you might miss the details. A professional video helps you relive the day and also recall how you felt. You can even send copies to relatives and close friends who were unable to attend your wedding. But beyond all this, a wedding video has the power to strengthen families. It can remind you of your temple covenants, teach your children the importance of temple marriage and preserve memories of loved ones since passed. One bride married in the Idaho Falls Temple hired a videographer (David Perry Films) who was able to capture her grandfather's last words of advice. He passed away unexpectedly only days following the wedding.

Scott and Jill Taft (Salt Lake Temple, 2000) can also express the importance of their wedding video. "We have been married for several years now and whenever we have a misunderstanding, I will hear our wedding video playing in the other room," says Scott. "I will sit down with Jill and watch it with her. Our hearts are both softened and we find ourselves apologizing to each other because we remember the importance of the covenants we made in the temple. We remember the reasons why we were married for time and all eternity."
