While in I was Nevada, ACW booked a show for July. A tag match was set-up between the newly turned face Jess Bradley and Michael Devine versus Mykata and Mike Nova. We knew Nova had a hurt knee but didn't know how bad it was until he called and said his ACL was torn and he had to have surgery. So a replacement for Mike Nova had to be found for the newly christened Vanderhoff Foundation.

Ironically, ACW called in Mack Truck. The guy who had his belt stolen in CCW.

I would have loved to been a fly on the wall in that locker room. All of my info is secondhand but from what I understand Mack came to the building, got dressed and barely spoke a word to anyone. Knowing Kevin like I do I bet he was thinking about doing some serious damage to Jess in that match. But Mack is a professional and he came in and did his job. I heard he was getting somewhere between 75-100 bucks to work for ACW. Good for him.

Myakta had other ideas. The belt incident only added heat to an already combustible situation. He was sick of Jasmine and was tired of wrestling Jess month after month. That night he went after Jess' leg and threw a VCR in Jess' face during the match. The only thing that saved Jess was that he got a chair up in front of his face before the VCR made contact with his head! This was getting out of hand and I attempted to rectify the situation. I called Jess and said get Micah into another program. Book one more match and we'll lose and then we'll go onto something else. My something else I thought would be a good idea. The Armed Forces were Tank Lewis and Solitude and they had wrapped themselves in the American Flag ever since Solitude turned face and Tank saved him from a beat down. Michael Devine made the suggestion to Solitude to start carrying an American Flag to the ring. It was working. They were getting huge reactions as a tag team. So I thought a feud with Truck and Myakta was a natural. Jess took all of this in and agreed.
