When I got the call from Solitude about Carolina Pro Wrestling, that pretty much put the kibosh on Power Alley. I had no desire to run against Tank Lewis and with Tank's connections I was curious to see what kind of product he has going to put out there. He didn't disappoint.

The first show was set for a date in July 2003. Unfortunately a dispute between Tank and I nearly ended my CPW run before it even began. I always assumed he and Solitude were equal partners in CPW but I guess when it came to things like selling gimmicks Tank had the final say. I had an opportunity to make some bread, finally, and I was going to take advantage of it. Since Tank Lewis is one of the hardest persons to reach via telephone, I called Solitude and got the OK. But when I started setting up my table at the first event, Tank told me I couldn't sell my stuff there. So I gave Tank an ultimatum. I either get the gimmick table or I wasn't working. He wouldn't let me have it so I left. I took me an hour to load my tiny little car and an hour to unpack which sucked and here I had to go load all that crap back in the car and go home. At that point, I was content to keep working SCW and the occasional gig in Florence and in North Carolina. I think I kind of pissed Solitude off because he had big plans for my character but you have to understand that I'd been screwed around with enough in Charleston. I had no patience for any more BS the third time around.

Tank showed up at SCW one night and we got to talking and we managed to put the whole thing behind us. So I made my debut one month later, not really a big deal. Solitude was booking and he had big plans for me. Jason Scott who worked as Lotus was to be one of my guys as was Mack Truck and Section 8. Solitude seemed determined to erase past mistakes. Lotus had been used primarily as a jobber in ACW/SWF; the poor guy just couldn't catch a break. In one show he was attacked by eight guys, including myself. Everyone got a shot in on him and he took about three finishers to boot. Lotus never complained; he merely did what was asked of him.
