Public houses, commonly known as pubs, have been social centers for decades. " The original pubs were a gathering spot for friends and families to meet and tell stories and discuss current affairs. O'Malley's Irish Pub

This storefront was one of at least four saloons in the old Cherokee business district in 1912. At the turn of the 20th century, large families ere crowded into small flats. The corner salon was a getaway and social hour for the men in the area. The saloon has been restored into an Irish Pub, for good times for all who enter. The pub is located across from the Old Lamp Brewery. The menu includes appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. entrees include: Corned Beef and Cabbage, Shepherds Pie, Pork Loin and New York Strip Steak.

O'Malley's Pub is located in the underground cellars of the Weston Brewing Company, built in 1842. It may be one of the most unique pubs in America. There is live Irish music every weekend. There are three vaulted rooms, providing a lively, intimate atmosphere. The pub offers a menu of beers, ale, lager, wine, soft drinks and Irish whiskey.
