It was a hot, clear, sunny day. I was in my son's bedroom leaning on the windowsill looking down out onto my garden downstairs. I could see my father leaning down as if picking dry leaves or other debris from the lawn. His back was towards me the whole time. Suddenly an oversized white pelican appears out of thin air and races thru the lawn with its mouth open, tongue sticking out and all, as if being extremely thirsty from the scorching sun. The bird found refuge in my fountain which is normally in the middle of the garden, but somehow had now moved to a corner next to our pergola. When looking at the pelican from its side, it was a normal pelican, but when it turned its head so that it faces one it was suddenly a beautiful white swan with a black, vertical stripe across its face. The pelican/swan was just swimming in the clear fountain water. There was a person lying on the hammock hanging by the logs that formed the pergola top, softly swinging and enjoying the coolness brought on by the shade formed by the creeping vine atop. I could not see who the person on the hammock was, so I "willed" it to turn around so that I could see its face. It was my son. Dreams can be so strange some times. They seem to have no logical beginning or end, and even the chains of events happening within at times don't seem to have any connection to one another.
However it's unfortunate that a lot of people chose to consciously or unconsciously ignore their dreams simply because they can't make any sense of them.
There are people who even go on claiming that they don't dream at all, but that's simply not true. Everybody dreams. In fact, a significant amount of our sleeping time is spent dreaming. So, consider how much more beneficial dreaming could be to our lives if we could make productive use of that time via our dreams.
Indeed understanding or interpreting your own dreams can be very beneficial to you in many different aspects of your life. But in order to fully explore your dreams you should first train yourself to remember them.
