The State of Arkansas is facing a problem that is common in every state in the United States today. This problem is the steady increase in substance abuse as well as the increase in availability, smuggling and
 trafficking of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, GHB, oxycontin and vicodin. Alcohol abuse is also on the increase throughout the state. Even though this increase does exist, there are those individuals who are part of this statistic who are actively seeking a change in there life in the form of drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation.

The State of Arkansas has many facilities that individuals with substance abuse, be it drugs or alcohol, can get the assistance that they need for prevention, education, intervention and treatment that will lead to a more productive life that becoming and remaining clean and sober can produce. No matter where in the state individuals with substance abuse are there is one of these facilities either in the town or city they are in or in the neighboring town or city.
