Burn a CD using Windows Media Player

Did you know that you can burn a CD straight from your Windows Media Player? At the top of your Media Player you will see a row of tabs. Click on the Burn tab. Under the Burn tab you will see two split screens. On the left side of the screen is where you will add the songs that you want to burn. Click the Edit Playlist button above that screen. The Edit Playlist window will pop up and you will need to locate the songs that you want to add to the list to burn. Get the list of songs that you want to burn and click the OK button. You will see the list on the left side of your screen. Place a blank CD in your drive. Then click the Start Burn button. As the player burns the songs it will place them on the right side of your screen. It will let you know when it is completed.

Manage your Playlist

There are many things that you can do to manage your playlist. You can shuffle the playlist, place a certain song on repeat, place all the songs on repeat, sort the playlist, and more. Click the Library tab at the top of your player. Click the Now Playing link on the right side of your screen. When that menu drops down you will see many options for your playlist. To sort the playlist by name, artist, album, rating, or filename, click Sort > and the way that you want to sort it. You will see all of the other options on that menu. Just click the option that you want.

Save a Playlist

Did you know that you can create different playlist and save them? Create the playlist that you want. Then click the Now Playing List button at the top of your player. When the menu drops down, click Save Playlist As... When the box pops up, type what you want to save the list as and locate where you want to save it. Then click the Save button.
