With the rising cost of real estate, as well as the ever-present need to save money for other necessities, buying a mobile home can be an attractive alternative for many new home owners. Repossessed mobile homes, moreover, will be cheaper. Mobile homes, after all, are simply homes that have come off the factory line: these houses are produced in bulk in factories, and are brought to their areas in their complete and finished form. This cheap cost of production lowers the price of the home considerably.

Mobile homes, or manufactured homes, are thus convenient for many people who do not want to spend too much money on buying a house. If you are considering buying a repossessed mobile home, take note of the following tips as you search for one.

- Look for a mobile home that is near your place of work or study. Location is an important consideration when searching for a mobile home, since many mobile home communities are located in isolated areas, where they can be shipped and moved without causing inconvenience to nearby communities.

Other mobile home communities, however, are located near prime properties such as groceries, supermarkets, or malls. If you are still studying, look for a mobile home that is close to your school, and which can be reached through secure, safe streets, so that you do not have to worry about your safety as you go home alone at night.

If you are working, however, find a mobile home located not only close to your area of work, but close to those of your co-workers. This can be advantageous if you need to hitch a ride with one of them, or if you need help from them in looking for better lodgings in the future.

Whether you work or study, and whether you are living alone or with your family or friends, let your needs and wants dictate the location of your mobile home. If you are sickly or are in constant need of medical attention, find a mobile home near a clinic or a major hospital. If you need to go to church every Sunday, choose a mobile home near a church. There are many other location considerations you need to take into account, so be sure that you have all your needs conveniently situated before you buy your mobile home.

If you can get the advantages of mobile homes to work for you, you may find yourself with enough money saved for a bigger, better house in the future.

We are looking to find a 3-4 bedroom mobile home that we can move to our town of Folkston, Ga. Something with low payments.
