It's hard to find a convertible car seat at a reasonable price these days. When I first started shopping for one, I was amazed that many of the convertible car seats available cost over $250. I wanted to find a convertible car seat that was safe for my baby, yet reasonably priced. I couldn't afford a $250 car seat, and I know many parents out there are in the same boat. After searching for a couple of days I finally found a convertible car seat that I felt confident in, and I bought it. The Evenflo Triumph Premier Convertible Car Seat turned out to be one of the best baby purchases I have made yet, and it only cost me $130!

The Evenflo Triumph Premier Convertible car seat can be used rear facing for babies from 5 to 30 pounds, which makes it a great alternative to an infant car seat that can only be used up to 20 pounds. The Triumph Premier also has plenty of padding and support, even for a small infant! As your baby grows, the Evenflo Triumph Premier grows with them. The car seat switches to forward facing and can accommodate a toddler up to 40 pounds. The car seat features an incredibly safe 5-point safety harness that is easily adjustable depending on the size of your baby. The car seat also features a great grey micro suede seat cover with an EPS foam liner, so can rest assured this car seat will be comfortable for your little one. For the toddlers the Evenflo Triumph features a removable cup holder that is perfect for holding sippy cups! Even with all these great features, many parents will wonder how easy the car seat is to use, and luckily I can do that as well.

The Evenflo Triumph uses the latch system or the traditional seat belt installation system, but the latch system is the easiest to use. There are really no hassles involved in installing the car seat, it's even easy to move from car to car. Adjusting the straps around your baby do prove to be a bit more of a challenge. To adjust the five-point harness straps around your baby you have to use a wheel that is located on the side of the car seat. This usually isn't a problem, but if you have to keep adjusting the straps because of your babies clothing it can get annoying.
