Valentina Mitzkat: A Interview with the Next Big Music Artist

The music industry produces hundreds of new artists on a weekly basis. Music companies force several different types of music down our throats. Many of the artists we are forced to listen to prove to us that they are mediocre at best. That is why it is truly amazing and unique when someone special comes along.

Valentina Mitzkat displays the type of unique music ability that has allowed her to step in front of all the pretenders. Growing up in Georgetown, Texas, Valentina taught herself how to play the piano. At the age of seven, Mitzkat wrote her first song about her dog running away. Mitzkat honed her skills by writing whenever she got the chance. If it wasn't music, it was a book, or a script, or even a musical.Her dream of being a musician led her to tryout for the lead role in her school's annual musical Bye Bye Birdie. She sang so well that she was chosen for the role. Shortly after, Mitzkat began singing regularly in musicals. Once she graduated high school, she moved onto a performing arts boarding school in Boston, Massachusetts. It was there that she began to write a furious pace because of problems back home. She used the power of song to get through the hard times, helping her produce some of her best pieces of work.

Since the end of college, Mitzkat has traveled to Italy and back. The past couple years have been a blessing to her. She has exploded into a song-writing frenzy and performed anywhere and everywhere. Her unique talents have led her to be discovered by several music industry scouts. Many believe that she will be the next big thing.

I had the honor to interview Valentina Mitzkat. She was kind enough to answer a few questions about her life and upcoming music. Also, she was able to provide us with the song "Just Leave". It is a beautiful song that shows her talent at its best.

My name is Valentina Mitzkat, I am twenty years old and I grew up in Georgetown, TX. Now I live in London.I am one quarter Irish and three-quarters Italian. I did not make up my name. I like plush toys and get nervous when anyone stands in front of a working microwave. Oh yeah... and I'm a singer/songwriter.
