Bones is being picked up for TWO additional seasons by the FOX TV Network. The announcement came after disputes between the network and the studio over licensing fees.This news may placate fans that were disappointed at the trite cliff hanger at the end of the spring 2009, forth season.
Bones fans were expecting a sizzling scene between the sheets between Booth (David Boreanaz) and Temperance Brennan, nicknamed Bones (Emily Deschanel). Although the writers gave the long expected bedroom scene to their audience with one hand, they took it away with the other when they revealed the saucy scene in the bedroom was merely a delusion caused by Booth's altered post-surgerical-state (the week prior Sealy Booth had emergent brain surgery to remove a brain tumor).
