Castles, beaches, oranges, reds and gold all make the list of top trends in wedding this year.

Madonna started it, Katie flaunted it and Nicole perfected it. If you can find one you can afford, getting married in a castle is the new hot location. Whether you want to get married in a historical villa in Tuscany or a romantic Irish castle nothing is impossible. Many places rent out castles for a week so you can house all the members of your wedding party and take a semi-relaxing European vacation.

If you Google 'castles for wedding'; lists and lists of places all over Europe and a few in America will pop up listing pricing information. Take note: Marriage laws differ in all countries and you should research the laws and bylines of getting married outside your home country before you rent any place to have your special day.

Orange Delight

Orange is the hottest color in bridesmaid dresses this year. Every shade from peach to burnt umber is on the menu: especially for summer weddings. Not a big orange fan? Other hot colors include sea blue, red and deep green.

Jazz it up

Brass jazz bands, jambalaya and red are spicing up weddings this year. Instead of a stark stuffy affair, many couples are creating a Mardi-Gras like atmosphere for their weddings (sans the flashing of course).

Gazebos covered with white roses that give way to a rich room decorated with candelabra pieces made from red roses with dashes of gold on the tabletops. A feast of oysters, red beans and rice and other traditional Creole favorites all set to the background of a swinging Jazz band, makes an unforgettable and fun occasion.

Sun and sand are back

Beach weddings fell out in favor over the last few seasons; but this year they are back. The biggest trend is to not only get married on the beach, but also hold your reception at the same locale. Tented tables along the seaside with soft classical music, flowing champagne and barefoot dancing highlight the choice of this wedding.
