Scooter Libby is convicted and thereby reveals the depths to which the Bush White House was willing to go to enact on revenge on anybody who dared to present the truth that opposed their mountain of lies about why the invasion of Iraq was worthwhile. Poll results indicate that a significant majority of Americans believe that Scooter Libby was just the latest fall guy for someone working in the White House, in this case Vice President Dick Cheney instead of the usual protected culprit Pres. Bush. Less than a week later Halliburton-the company that Vice President Dick Cheney used to be Chief Executive Officer of-announces they are moving not only out of the country, and not only to the Middle East, but to the very same country that Pres. Bush once upon a time tapped to head up port security for the United States of America. Dubai.

If one were a teensy bit cynical, one might be tempted to find a pattern in that news.

For instance-assuming only that one were the just tiniest bit cynical-one might be tempted to think that once the United States of America is finally rid of the murderous and criminal influence of the man who actually managed to make Dan Quayle look like a statesman in his role as Vice President, and that since Dick Cheney is probably at least smart enough to realize that nobody in the Republican Party wants to be associated him, that his future is in his past.

Takeaways
  • Scooter Libby is convicted for helping to get revenge on an Iraq truth-teller.
  • The evidence points to the fact that Dick Cheney was heavily involved.
  • Halliburton is moving its HQ out of the country.
Did You Know?
Wonder if Dubai has an extradition agreement alreadhy on the table with Bush's butt-buddy Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez?
