I saw Robin Leech on Scarborough Country the other night. He was on a segment of Hollyweird. That fact that Joe Scarborough, lawyer and former U.S. Congressman turned TV talk show host, is doing a segment on the weirdness of Hollywood could be enough to write about here. But Robin Leech too! Now we've got something. You remember Robin Leech as host of a really cool TV show years ago called "Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous."

This was back before all of the trash on television 24 hours a day now. For some reason we can not get enough of what is going on in the lives and even the deaths of famous people. Coverage for 24 hours a day on where Anna Nicole Smith was going to be buried got to be a little much. Even Bill O'Reilly can not get away from it. He keeps trying to bring closure and he is trapped in a story that will not end.

So Robin Leech is now letting us know about the sorry state of Brittany Spears and how he saw her on the floor drunk on New Year's Eve and he is doing it on a show that used to be about politics. I guess Scarborough Country is still about politics for 45 minutes out of the hour. We can not get enough of this crap so here it is on another show for the other 15 minutes.

In reality, since all of this is about real reality TV , most of us have such a crappy life of our own that we love to see how the rich and famous are doing. Even more so we love to see that they have problems just like us except theirs are on TV 24 hours a day for the world to see. Maybe we all feel bad for them which makes us feel a little better about ourselves.

We get up and go to work everyday to earn a paycheck that does not cover all of the bills, so our spouse joins us. Then that is not enough so we take second jobs. We spend the first 3 months of every year working to pay our taxes so a misinformed President like George Bush can blow hundreds of billions in a country that does not want us there. If we don't pay our taxes the IRS garnishes our wages which makes it that much harder to pay our bills.
