Whining Whoopi and Blustering Barbara Walters Show Glenn Beck the Ugly and Petty Side of the View

Glenn Beck Survives the View..How?

Knowing well that he was walking into a den of vipers, Glenn Beck took a seat at the View anyway. From the time the camera hit the table of woman it was very clear that Whoopi was ready to do battle with Glenn Beck. The oh so unattractive face that she portrayed looked like she had just bitten into a sour apple.

Whoopi was offended by a segment of Glenn Beck's show. And not to be outdone by stupidity, Barbara Walters had to do her usual babbling about how unconscionable the segment had been. Glenn Beck apologized to Barbara Walters but had none for Whoopi. Whoopi proceeded to do her usual scowl and slump in the chair act that she reserves for anyone she perceives to be of a different mindset than hers. Most especially anyone not of the democrat persuasion. Whoopi was embarrassing and her sidekick Barbara Walters looked like a wannabe irate and important challenge to Glenn Beck when in reality Barbara Walters looked pitiful.

Sherri was very cordial and tried to help Glenn Beck out of a few dicey moments and Joy was close to acting like she almost liked Glen Beck. But that was where any sense of fair play or good manners ended.

Poor Glen Beck, he couldn't even depend on the View co-host, Elizabeth. Glenn Beck, long known for disagreeing with BOTH democrats and republicans, seemed to offend Elizabeth for not sticking to a Pelosi/democrat bash.

I think that Whoopi and Barbara Walters and yes, even Elizabeth, may have overlooked something. The AUDIENCE!! The audience seemed (by their applause) to agree with what Glenn Beck was trying to say. They seemed to like Glenn Beck's view. Could the pouting 2 year old fit that Whoopi threw today boomerang? Could Barbara Walters be thinking that she should apologize to Glenn Beck? She may think it, but it would take more guts and common sense than Barbara Walters has displayed in recent years to actually do it.

The View audience gets it. I think Joy and Sherri kind of get it. But Whoopi and Barbara Walters were so busy trying to make their GUEST, Glenn Beck, feel bad that they totally missed it. This country, like the View audience wants both parties to get a clue.

  • It was hard to view the View today without thinking these women are childish.
