Google Alerts delivered ten alerts to my inbox on Wednesday informing me that Kathryn Darden had just married Boston Red Sox pitcher John Smoltz on May 16. The reason I received the alerts is my name happens to be Kathryn Darden. Then I began to get messages and emails inquiring about my newfound matrimonial state, as well as numerous visits and pingbacks to my blog.
