Kate Gosselin's Brother Claims that Marriage is Over and that Jon Gosselin is Under Contract
A Jon and Kate open marriage? Surely this could not be the case, but according to several internet web-sites, it seems that it might be. Jon and Kate Gosselin, the stars of TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8, had recently been seen in the press as having marital problems, and then cheating rumors starting to spark up everywhere. First Jon Gosselin was alleged to have an affair with a school teacher, and then it was reported that Kate Gosselin was having an affair with her bodyguard. But does it count as having an affair if there is already a pre-arranged agreement in place between the pair?During a recent interview, and then as reported by Perez Hilton, Kate's brother Kevin and her sister in law Jodi Kreider may have a different story to present than the one being seen on television. The relatives are claiming that Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin entered into a contract that would permit Jon to openly date if he continued his work on Jon & Kate Plus 8. The revelation would make things boil down to basically a scripted television show, where the couple pretends that they are still married, all in an attempt to pull one over on viewers and make more money on the side. Could something like this really be taking place?
According to the same sources, Kate has already terminated the marriage, and though it wasn't released as to why she did that, it is certainly going to spark more and more rumors about what is going on behind closed doors. When she terminated the marriage, she then allegedly presented Jon with a contract that explicitly lays out the details of their "relationship" from that point forward. This could be a very damning contract if it all turns out to be true, and it is certainly not going to shine any sort of positive light on this family or their children if it turns out that the American people are just being scammed.

In my view, this primarily about The LOVE of money, which has been accurately termed 'the root of all evil'. Certainly, the parents are flawed, as are we all. But, being adults, they have choices. Not so 'the 8'. As such, they are the real victims of this lust and will be paying for their parents greed for the rest of their lives. The damage is already apparent; has been for some time. I wish them peace, but, since money rules, I fear only more 'pieces' as they continue to fragment... a disintegration too sad to watch, so I won't.

Bridgette don't be so hard on Susan, she is right! Kate is going to produce children who never have to work for anything and are already displaying signs of selfishness just like their mother. No it isn't the kids fault but still is true. This show needs to be cancelled now!

This show has run it's course. They family is a victim of the reality show curse. what is it, 90 % of reality show families break up or are really messed up after doing a reality show. Hope the $ was worth it!

Susan, you are a worthless excuse for a woman~! how dare you have o compassion for those kids, and call innocent children names, they did not ask to be brn, and they certainly did not ask for fame and fortune,but have done to you as you do onto others, would yo sit back and be okay with people talking your childrn down the way you are these kids? and if you would be okay with it, then you are a poor excuse for a mother and ou don't deserve o have children.

All of the The Lying Channel's families are portrayed as average mothers and fathers raising many children on average incomes. However, the Roloffs, the Duggars, and Jon and Kate,and the Hayes all have received either home remodeling or a mansion, 5 star vacations, spa treatments, exclusive admissions to themeparks, not to mention $100,000 per episode ($1,500,000) not including what sponsors pay.

I AM BEYOND TIRED OF JON AND KATE. BOTH OF THESE PEOPLE AND TLC SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. I HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME VIEWER OF TLC "REALITY" SHOWS, BUT NOOOO MOOORRREEE!!! NO LONGER "THE LEARNING CHANNEL," BUT NOW "THE LYING CHANNEL." The NETWORK NEEDS TO SHUTDOWN.

I think that if you are incapable of having compassion for anyone in this situation, especially a family with 8 children, then you are the one who has grown up to be an ***hole. Regardless of whether they are or are not poor, whether there are or are not portions of the show that are "scripted" this is clearly a family of human beings who have feelings and lives of equal importance and frailty as the next American family. If you cannot even find it in your heart to wish these children and parents well, then don't watch the show, don't comment on it, and keep all of your useless opinions to yourself. You should be ashamed of being so arrogant as to think that you have the authority to judge these people this way.

Why is everyone so concerned with the kids? They are all spoiled brats whose "parents" are millionaires! If you are raised to believe you deserve anything and everything for no reason other than just existing then you will grow up to become a useless arrogant self-entitled ***hole! (See Paris Hilton). This show has been a sham for a long time now. In addition to pretending to be married, they are also pretending to be poor. Jon & Kate just got paid three million dollars for the new season of the show, is it really that surprising they would both do whatever it took to make sure they got that paycheck from TLC! I miss the days of "The Learning Channel".
