The only drawback is that Guru and WriterLance take a small cut of whatever you earn on any projects you are hired for through their websites. But the amount is really negligible and the long term working relationships you can establish with different employers are priceless. In addition to these two sites, there are many others that put freelance writers in touch with paid writing opportunities.
