You wish you could get paid to write don't you? Me too. Most of us "wanna-be" writers dream of landing a huge book deal with a major publishing house but we really don't know if that will ever happen. But that doesn't mean we can't make a dime off our writing in the meantime. While you are working on that future best selling novel of yours, you can keep your writing skills sharp and easily earn a few bucks in the process. There are some really good sources for finding paid writing gigs online. All you need to know is where to find them. Two of my favorites are: www.guru.com and www.writerlance.com. And, of course, there is always my favorite, www.associatedcontent.com. That's right. If you're only on AC reading all the great articles, you're missing out on half the fun. AC will pay you to publish your work here.

Online sites like Guru and WriterLance provide a place for freelance writers, graphic designers, photographers, and other freelancers a place to connect with employers who are looking to have various projects completed for compensation. The only drawback is that Guru and WriterLance take a small cut of whatever you earn on any projects you are hired for through their websites. But the amount is really negligible and the long term working relationships you can establish with different employers are priceless. In addition to these two sites, there are many others that put freelance writers in touch with paid writing opportunities.

Nicely written article. I hadn't thought of Craigslist as a place to find writing gigs before reading this.
