If you are reading this article, then obviously you may have typed in AC through your google toolbar, stumbled across it by accident, or simply were kind enough to click on one of my links. Although many people may have stumbled across this article, or several other AC related stories, since it seems to be a popular topic for people to write about, please continue reading and reffering to my article so I can have more page views (just kidding). Anyways, more page views on Associated Content now earns writers more money...but how do you get those page views. Ahhh, a popular question through the infamous forums on the AC website is "how to up the page views". I am guilty of not promoting my work, as suggested several times through the forums, but always seem to wonder why there are not many viewers to my content. Hello! AC provides us with great marketing tools to help boost our page views, however, most of us complaining are not taking the tools provided or listening to advice of successful content writers. Instead, we think if we ask the question, sob a little, then maybe, just maybe, we will miraculously feel better about ourselves and the magic page views will appear the next time we log into our home page. Let's pretend that you have a huge mess in your car, and you just can't understand how it got there! Instead of wondering, clean the mess and...poof...you have a clean car. You have to work for what you want, rather than wait for things to appear or fix on their own. Page views are gained not only by reading other people's articles in hope they will visit yours, but also by promoting your own work through advertising and word of mouth. Why does it seem so hard to put associated content in your signature? It's not, and that's the truth. It literally takes two minutes and another few minutes to post your signature and comments on other forums. Another easy step is to mass email your friends...they will be curious to how you are making a legit income...everyone loves money. These are just to name a few ways to promote your content, which I admittingly have not done yet! They are so easy, that it kills me to know that I am too lazy to do it!
