There was once a boy who had no wisdom of the life beyond; and such thoughts, which he tried to ignore, were always dancing in his head. So he asked his mother of such cogitations.

"Just tell me," said the boy, "Tell me how to be with God."

With a vacuous expression on her face, for she had just as much knowledge of the life beyond as her son did, she expectantly said,

"Be a nice little boy and all will go well."

Under the advice, the boy tried to do as he was instructed, but found he wasn't nice at certain times.

"Being nice is not the right way," replied the boy, " There has to be a right way?"

The boy grew up into a young man and those thoughts of the life beyond were an incessant trait of his daily thinking process. He went to his professor and proposed the same question as he did to his mother.

"Just tell me," said the young man, " tell me how to be with God."

With a smile of arrogance, the professor replied,

"A foolish question indeed; there is no God and if there is He cares not to be with you or for you to be with him. Stay with you studies, young man, and you will do well."

The young man trusting the astute wording of his teacher, took on the journey of deeper learning. Over the years the learning increased, but the young man, now much older, still found life empty.

"Much learning has made me weary," replied the man, "and that question still pursues me."

Many days went by and many advisors gave their opinion over the matter, but the man never receive the true answer to his question. One day, while walking down a beaten path, he came across another man reading under a tree. Curiosity overwhelmed him and be went over to inquire of the reader.

What are you reading?"

"A good book," said the reader, "or should I say the Good Book."

What is the Good Book about?"

"God: his ways, his words, and his life that He offers."

Then man's eyes grew with glee and anticipation of finding the answer to his question.

"Excuse me, dear sir, fir I mean not to be noise, " said the man controlling his excitement," I have for years sought to be with God. You seem to have the answer."

"God has the answer," said the reader.

"Just tell me," said the man, " Tell me how to be with God?"
