Gun Control is Necessary

Gun control is the only solution. Only by creating new laws which impede the freedom of law-abiding citizens will criminals suddenly decide that they should obey the law. Murders and other gun related crimes would never happen if criminals knew that it was against the law to obtain guns. Oh wait...that's just stupid.

I cant seem to tear myself away from your article. Iv read it a few times and just fail to see the logic in what your saying. Jeff down below has the right idea, if you take the guns away from the "good guys" who bought them legally, the "bad guys" will still get tehir hands on them. So, what are you going to do when some piece of shit(with a gun) breaks into your home some night? hm? Pray him away? or call the police and wait ten minutes for them to get there? You must be living in never-never land. My advice, grow up and buy a gun....you pussy.

blaming guns for crime is like blaming cars for drunk driving fatalities. instead of working to create new law for criminals to ignore, why dont you use your time and energy to make our current laws actually work? its because of bleeding hearts like yourselves that murderers are released for good behavior only to commit another crime against law abiding citizens. now i'm gonna go run over random people so i can sue toyota for making me do it.

I'm not sure what happened to your son, but guns are NOT to blame. It is irresponsible people. If you ban guns, you arm the wicked. The only people who comply will be the honest and scared. I agree some gun control is good (violent criminals, and the mentally unstable should not have them) But to blame guns for violence is rediculous. Many people carry/own guns, and there arent mass blood sheds in the streets...Think about it before you go blaming an inanimate object for killing. I am sure your tune will change when it's someone with a gun that saves you life, of that of a family member.

Please read my story gun violence in the USA.My Son was one of the many, many innocent victims killed through gun violence.My life and that of my family has been forever broken. My son is gone and I will never be able to hold him in my arms.Many of the so called rights in our country is what has led to the deterioration of our country. Right to bare arms, so we can all kill one another? The media to the point of sex and violence all over the television. Heck I can remember when they couldn't even say damn on T.V. Yes we should have rights but many of them should come with limitations (within reason). Our country was founded on God but so not to offend others this has been revised,then I wonder why our government still prints "In God We Trust" on our currency! I guess that will be removed next.
