A True Christina Ricci Fan
I love Christina Ricci. I appreciate all her work. I'm a fan that has watched every Christina Ricci film that I've ever knows existed. Since the Adam's Family Movies, I've always seen Ms. Ricci's movies and thought "Wow, there is something about her". Even little Christina in Fried Green Tomatoes was one that struck a chord with me. Fried Green Tomatoes is neither my type of food or movie. I watched this film staring Cher for Christina's small role.
Christina has played in good movies and bad movies. She has been in quirky ensemble roles and stared in feature films. None of her other movies were like Black Snake Moan. I went in thinking it would see a horrible B movie. I was impressed with this movie staring Samuel L. Jackson, Christina Ricci, Justin Timberlake, and S. Epatha Merkerso. Not many movies strike a cord of emotion. This one did so for me based upon the ensemble of strong broken characters. I came out moved motivated and touched. The movie is less an inspiration and more a shock the system.
Christina's Insatiable Raunchy Role
Shock number one in this move was Christina half naked most of the movie. Yes, little Christina was all grown up. The shock want not because she was in tremendous shape or the fact that she was blonde. The shock was one where I simply for the first few minutes had no idea who she was. I sat and thought when will Christina Ricci come into the film cause this blonde girl with Freckles is Crazy. Christina was wholly unrecognizable for the first few minutes.
